Duties and Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of four (4) years practicing a variety of disciplines, including supply management, expeditionary logistics, inventory control, disbursement, financial management, contracting, information systems, operations analysis, material and operational logistics, and physical distribution. Manages all supply chain functions within the AN/USQ-82(V) Data Multiplex System (xDMS) Program, which includes warehousing, material procurement, inventory control, outsourcing, vendor selection, and distribution. Directs all supply chain projects to ensure that they are on time and within budgetary controls. Ensures Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) policy and procedures are followed. Ensures warehouse functions are properly staffed optimally performed. Oversees procurement activities to ensure adequate competition is obtained and documented, vendors are properly vetted, and all procurement actions, when appropriate, consider MILSTRIP as a preferred alternative source. Emphasizes need to track and follow-up with vendors to ensure accurate delivery dates for products. Develops inventory targets and order points. Oversees the scheduling of deliveries to prevent excess stock or backorders. Assures that departmental and support personnel are focused on continuous improvement of products and processes. Directs maintenance of records and data essential to material programs including materials resource planning. Promotes alignment by understanding and communicating customer needs and requirements throughout the organization. Participates in supplier and vendor negotiations as needed.
Required Skills/Years of Experience
- Ability to manage all supply chain functions within Depot, which includes warehousing, material procurement, inventory control, outsourcing, vendor selection, and distribution.
- Possess management experience with DoD, Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR), and/or Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific, or similar experience.
- Must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, have proficiency in writing reports and instructions, and be able to brief senior leaders on assignments.
- Four (4) years of supply chain management experience.
- Bachelor's degree is desired

Preferred Skills
- Experience in assembling and preparing documentation and reports to support and reflect progress on requirements, goals, objectives, action items, upcoming events, issues, and concerns.
- Quality Management System (QMS) experience that is compatible with ISO 9001:2015.
- Must have better than average experience with Microsoft Office products.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of technical and management personnel.
Compensation: $25.64 - $34.05 an hour - Compensation for positions at Centurum varies depending on a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, location, responsibilities, skill set, and level of experience.
