The Fleet Logistician provides critical technical and logistics support to the Fleet/JAMP/OSTS Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead within the C4ISR Restoration Depot. This role ensures absolute financial and operational audit readiness by managing Operating Materials & Supplies (OM&S), executing full-lifecycle Shop Ordering within Shop Workload Maintenance System (SWMS) and Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and tracking complex financial data. The incumbent must maintain functional cross-training to support BSS operations and traditional NAVSUP workloads while serving as a key player in Existence and Completeness (E&C) and Ernst and Young (E&Y) audit preparations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Fleet/JAMP/OSTS IPT Technical Support
Provide technical support to the Fleet/JAMP/OSTS IPT Lead regarding the identification, financing, receipt, execution, and closeout of specific assigned workloads.
Ensure Casualty Reports (CASREPs) are properly identified and prioritized.
Act as backup for NAVSUP Traditional workloads, other assigned workloads, and Baseline System Support) BSS support roles.
Planning & SWMS/ERP Execution
Review and build Technical Directive Lists (TDLs) from inception to approval.
Execute SWMS Project, deliverable, and process creation.
Generate, place, and complete Shop Orders (S/O) in SWMS, actively following workloads through the Shops, Quality Control, and Packing/Shipping.
Query and update the SWMS database as necessary.
Material & Inventory Management
Request warehouse induction, process wrong material, return/ship assets, and generate DD Form 1149s.
Conduct a quarterly 25% blind spot inventory.
Utilize NAVSUP One Touch Support (OTS) and Asset Visibility databases.
Financial Tracking & Auditing
Review and report trends/inconsistencies in contractor labor hours, labor dollars, and material dollar uploads to SWMS and Navy ERP.
Track and record financials between multiple activities.
Verify and close Fleet ICNs and prepare financial templates for close-outs.
Serve as a key team member for E&C, E&Y, and OM&S audit prep, executing Weekly Mock Uploads and internal audits.
Reporting & Data Analytics
Prepare technical/status reports for on-time delivery, including Weekly Activity Report (WAR) Submissions, Fleet Monthly Comparison Reports, Monthly Metric Reports, and Stock in Transit (SIT) Reports.
Support data collection, develop statistical data for ongoing projects, and respond to ad hoc data queries.
Prepare tasking reports as funding becomes available.
Collaboration & Shipping
Consult regularly with Depot Business Financial Managers (BFMs), Fleet/JAMP/OSTS IPT Leads, contractor staff, and vendors.
Provide backup shipping support, interface with shipping vendors to obtain quotes, and ensure delivery schedules are met.
Compliance & Special Projects
Act as the primary back-up for P723-Compliance and Reporting (including Management Review Controls reporting).
Perform special projects as required by assigned managers.
REQUIRED SKILLS/YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
Software Proficiency
Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Must possess advanced Excel skills to manage financial templates, analyze logistics/statistical metrics, execute mock uploads, and track perpetual inventory.
System Knowledge
Deep functional understanding of SWMS, Navy ERP, NAVSUP OTS, and Asset Visibility databases for TDL review, Shop Order lifecycles, and material tracking.
Audit Readiness
Proven ability to maintain strict accountability of materials, financial data, and processes to successfully support E&C, E&Y, OM&S, and internal DoD audit standards.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

This position is required to have and maintain a Secret US DoD security clearance.
PREFERRED SKILLS
Quality Management System (QMS) experience that is compatible with ISO 9001:2015.

Compensation: $29 - $52 an hour.
