Design/Test Engineer (Flying Probe) - Depot
Duties of Position
Possesses a very good understanding of printed circuit boards (PCB), single and multi-layer boards, and populated and bare boards. Knowledgeable of surface mount and through hole soldering techniques. Tests, troubleshoots, and repairs analog and digital electronic circuits. Tests electronic prototypes. Experienced using and interpreting sketches, schematics, PCBs and AutoCAD drawings. Working experience using electronic test equipment, including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, network analyzers, Hi-Pot Dielectric test equipment, and functional signal generators. Able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously and independently. Skilled programming and maintaining Flying Probe test stations. Skilled operator for the same equipment. Able to program Flying Probe systems for testing electronic circuits. Tests, tunes, and troubleshoots circuits to meet customer specifications. Trains junior technicians in understanding circuit tests for the troubleshooting and repair of customer products. Develops new test scenarios as required to accommodate new and changing hardware and testing requirements. Performs various tests and analyzes and documents results. Reviews, writes, and provides updates to technical documentation. Participates in special projects as required.
Required Skills & Experience
Very good understanding of electronics. 3 plus years of PCB manufacturing and/or troubleshooting experience. Three (3) yrs recent EE experience in design, builds, installation, test, document and recommending corrective actions.
Education: Bachelor's Degree (EE or related field)

This position requires a Secret US DoD security clearance.
Preferred Skills
C4ISR experience a plus. Acculogic Scorpion Flying Probe model FLS980 a plus. Working knowledge of Xmatic a plus. Quality Management System (QMS) experience that is compatible with ISO 9001:2015.
Remarks
Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of Government and Contractor technical and management personnel. Must have a demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products.
Compensation: $45-75 an hour.
