Warehouse Specialist (Contingent)
Duties and Responsibilities
Centurum is actively searching for individuals with the following qualifications to support upcoming contract opportunities in support of Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Newport, RI. This job notice is for opportunities that are contingent upon award of contracts in the February-April 2024 timeframe.
The requirements of the position will include, but are not limited to:
- Mange a team of employees to provide supply support to US Navy acquisition program offices.
- Review and update supply support and inventory management documentation and databases.
- Maintain documentation for provisioning, replenishment, and supply support items.
- Conduct inventories of Operating Materials and Supplies and General Equipment.
- Mange data within the Product Data Reporting and Evaluation Program Reporting System.
- Manage the analysis and forecasting of supply inventories.
- Implement procedures to improve productivity and customer service.
- Review Packaging, Handling, Storage & Transportation (PHS&T) Documentation and provide recommendations to address improvements, corrections, and personnel and equipment safety.
Required Skills/Years of Experience
Education: High School diploma or GED. Supply technician training or certification.
Experience: Eight (8) years of warehouse leadership experience, to include: supervisory or warehouse lead at a DoD facility; financial management; logistics support for projects involving electronic/ electrical repair and installation, ordering, acquisition, distribution of material, equipment, and resources. In addition, experience performing inventory, staging, packing, storage and shipping of electronic equipment and related material; operating motor vehicles and material handling equipment; and utilizing a computer-based inventory and bar-coding system for entry, identification and tracking of material.
INDIVIDUAL MUST MAINTAIN ELIGIBILITY FOR A DOD SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE.
