DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Centurum is actively searching for individuals with the following qualifications to support a USAF customer with need of an individual with DoD staff experience, whether in a military or civilian capacity, and at least a general understanding of security cooperation, international affairs, security assistance, and foreign military sales.
A minimum of eight (8) years’ experience with demonstrated effectiveness and success in the mission areas below:
Work Location: Arlington, VA
This position is required to have and maintain a Secret US DoD security clearance.

A minimum of eight (8) years’ experience with demonstrated effectiveness and success in the mission areas below:
- USAF LOA development, execution, and/or portfolio management and/or experience as HAF-level, SAF/IA, or equivalent Country Desk Officer
- Experience with the weapon systems or support systems identified in the TO
- Knowledge of:
- FMS case programming
- Security Cooperation programs
- Building Partner Capacity programs
- US DoD staff experience in a military or civilian capacity.
- Professional Military Education through the Intermediate Developmental (O[1]4) level.
- Knowledge and general understanding of USAF roles and missions.
- Knowledge and general understanding of security cooperation, international affairs, security assistance, foreign military sales to include the processes, legislation, and players.
- Knowledge and understanding of SAF/IA’s role in USG and international security cooperation community.
- Demonstrated experience implementing DoD acquisition policies, laws, regulations, and guidance required to implement FMS LOAs.
- Familiarity with major USAF fighter and airlift aircraft and aircrew training and exercises, to include Red Flag, Green Flag, and Mobility Guardian scheduling.
- Familiarity with USAF fighter aircraft operations and maintenance support requirements.
- Thorough understanding of:
- DODI 1315.20, Military Department Foreign Area Officer Programs
- CJCSI 3126.01, Language and Regional Expertise Planning
- AFPD 16-1, International Affairs
- AFI 16-109, International Affairs Specialist Program
- USAF Global Partnership Strategy
- U.S. Export Control laws, regulations, and procedures
- DSCA Security Assessment Management Manual (SAMM)
- International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and US Government
- National Disclosure Policy (NDP)
- Industry and their relationship to the FMS process
- Demonstrated successful performance in FMS case development, programming, and implementation
- Bachelor’s Degree with a desired emphasis in an International Affairs curriculum is required
- A minimum of (8) years of experience
