Duties and Responsibilities

Centurum is actively searching for individuals with the following qualifications to support upcoming contract opportunities in support of Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Newport.  This job notice is for opportunities that are contingent upon award of a contract February-April 2024 timeframe.

The requirements of the position will include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage a team of logistician subject matter experts.
  • Integrate various logistics processes within the operational, acquisition, and wholesale environments.
  • Direct the integrated logistics process, developing support policies, procedures and systems, and providing implementation guidance.
  • Prepare and implement directives to ensure effective logistics support,
  • Establish and enforce standards to ensure that the assigned work force is properly trained and equipped.
  • Develop, initiate, integrate and manage all logistics actions associated with life cycle management of weapon systems, subsystems and equipment.

 

Required Skills/Years of Experience

EDUCATION Bachelor’s  Degree.

The candidate must have proficient knowledge in Microsoft applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.  Requires 7 years of experience in integrated logistics support, preferably within DOD, and the ability to multitask and re-prioritize based on deadline requirements. Demonstrate supply and inventory management experience supporting US Navy customers.
INDIVIDUAL MUST MAINTAIN ELIGIBILITY FOR A DOD SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE.
